Inactive  Product's Ability: ProdOps Tooling

Soon this Ability will be broken into Stakeholder Management, where we will focus on ProductBoard. ProductBoard:Insights will like in Qualitative research. Domo and Pendo will live in Data analysis, Jira will live in project management... Where will Pendo guide administration live? Where will Jira administration live? Those are the two open questions that need to be answered before this Ability can truly be split.

The CareerPlug take on Product Operations is very similar to the definition in this video

In that video she talks about one of the six areas they focus on is the management of Tools

This ability is a combination of knowledge of the tools and behaviors that help drive increasingly more alignment with all who care about what is going on with Product.

These tools, today, include:

• Jira (how do we know what we are building and where it is in the building journey)
• ProductBoard (how do understand what our client's need, organize our insights repository, and rally everyone around our direction)
• Pendo (how do we get our clients to realize the value we are delivering)
• Domo (how do we get the data that we need to make increasingly better decisions)

The milestone progression focuses on you mastering 3 of the 4 tools mentioned.

The early Milestones (1 and 2) will focus almost exclusively on certification-style assessments. Milestone 3 will focus on mastery as shown by experience with the tools of choice. Milestone 4 will focus on you being the CareerPlug expert and driving how we use the tool (and maybe even selecting different or accompanying tools). Milestone 5, you are creating videos similar to the one that started this description, and are known in the industry for helping teams outside of CareerPlug select their ProdOps tools.

I have observed this person showing a consistent, comfortable, continuous, and clear positive impact to a squad when wielding this ability, and therefore I would put them in situations where they can employ this ability with only a small amount of guidance
